Merry Christmas from New Zealand

We have now been in our wee cafe for 7 weeks now and I can`t believe how quickly it has passed.  We have loads of lovely customers and are starting to settle down a wee bit.  Been making lots and lots of scones so am getting to be a bit of an expert, also loads of cakes and biscuits.

Still trying to get our head around xmas in the sun,  Loving walking along the beach after work, planning on having a very quiet christmas as we have been very busy in the cafe.  Found time to have a wee walk along the beach on christmas Eve.........

Merry Christmas from New Zealand

Missing satsumas from home I used to eat them by the packet but found the next best things the cherries are so delicious here and I love the packaging on these ones.

Have a safe and happy christmas xxxx

A wee bit of crochet to finish off with my crochet christmas tree from royal sisters pattern just a shame that the background is so bleak

Our cafe is going so much better than we thought meet some lovely people in the last 2 months feels like we have been there for years........If ever you find yourself on the Kapiti Coast pop in for a coffee and some good home-baking.
