I'm with you. I just love granny squares. i can do that stitch over and over and not get bored. I love changing colors so maybe that is why I don't get tired of it. I'm working on my "Crazy Colors" throw - I'm on row 4. I'm not a fast crocheter like some of the more experienced crocheters. LOL! I love adding the washcloth to the baby blanket. That's a cute idea.
